Bio
How music influenced and molded me
I was born in Ringkøbing, Denmark, in 1979. My childhood was comprised of a wonderful melting pot of music. Music lessons in elementary and high school, including piano, saxophone and singing formed the foundation that I have now.
At home, my mother sang and listened to various styles of music. My father played the violin, piano, accordion and organ. Aunts and uncles came around and played and sang with us on their instruments as well, often dancing right there in the middle of dinner dime. Those memories remain close to my heart and kindled my passion for music and joyful people.
My music influences: Pop, rock, musicals, film music, jazz, classical, opera, folk music and new age.
My favorite music? All music that is good. As simple as it gets, and with my heart open to a whole world of styles and expressions.
I hold a Bachelors Degree in Musicology, Drama and Choir Conduction from The University of Copenhagen, and a Master’s Degree in Orchestra Conducting from the Royal Danish Academy of Music. Besides, I have taken extra courses in conducting, and creative entrepreneurship.
I’m also trained in movie editing, using Adobe Premiere CC.
